Our passion at KA is the development of Angus genetics that improve profitability for our customers. That is the purpose behind the existence of purebred cattle production. Our values are based on the “Okie” work ethic and integrity. The constant improvement of the land and cattle entrusted to us is the foundation behind our every decision. Brian lost his father at an early age. Fortunately, his grandfather, an old school southern Oklahoma rancher, stepped in as his guiding light. That light burned brightly until his passing in 2020 at the age of 91. His approach to the cattle business was simple— be sure the next crop of calves is an improvement over the previous crop. Practicality guided the way. If it did not make economic sense, it was then deemed a bad idea.  Seedstock production goals are easy to define: more quality pounds produced more efficiently.

A chance meeting between Tommy Williams and Brian formed an Angus partnership that immediately propelled KA forward. Tommy brings a passion for attaining the KA goals backed by his total immersion in the Angus industry since the age of seven. Currently he is 81. Tommy’s grandfather A. D. Bradshaw a pioneer Angus breeder is credited with starting more people in the Angus business than any other individual.  More than a century of expertise in producing performance Angus has developed the KA herd of today. Identifying great cow families, then blending those superior maternal families results in unparalleled predictability and profitability.
